Day 1: New Delhi – Jammu – Katra
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Airport for your flight 9W 7088 at 0920 Hours to Jammu On arrival 1030 Hours at Jammu meet our representative and transfer to hotel at Katra. Overnight at Hotel at Katra.
Day 2: Katra
After breakfast, start your journey to Vaisnodevi. Trek to Vaishno Devi shrine (14 kms), ponies can also be arranged by self (at your own cost) for the trek, return back to Katra late in evening/night.Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti and is the second most visited religious shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji Temple. Overnight at Hotel at Katra (Temple Darshan Arrangement by Client)
Day 3: Katra – Pahalgam
Transfer to Pahalgam via Patnitop driving through the pir panjal range of forests. The Pir Panjal Range of the Kashmir is the longest and most important passes of this range, the latter being followed by Jammu-Srinagar road. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel at Pahalgam. Overnight Stay at hotel at Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam-Betab Valley Chandanwari and Aru
Pahalgam is a famous place for Chandanwari, Betab Valley, Aru and treks to Lidderwat towards Kolohai Glacier (at your own cost). One can take a local Sumo Jeep which will take you around to these places for a day tour or take a pony ride through the alpine forest to arrive at Betab valley (at your own cost) , a meadow of enchanting beauty surrounded by pine forest and pahalgam mountain range (at your own cost).Overnight at Hotel Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam- Gulmarg
Morning free for relaxtion and tour around Pahalgam .Late afternoon transfer to Gulmarg going via the Martand Sun Temple and Avantipura Archaelogical site. On your way you get to see the sights of saffron flower blooming in the autumn sun. You will also get a chance to see famous Kashmir willow bats in the making. On arrival at Gulmarg you will be transferred to hotel. Gulmarg is popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and Skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. Overnight at Hotel at Gulmarg.
Day 6: Gulmarg – Srinagar (56 Kms – 2 1/2 hour)
Today you shall be transferred to Houseboat at Srinagar. In the evening enjoy Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Houseboat at Srinagar.
Day 7: Srinagar – Mughal Gardens /Parimahal/Shankaracharya Remple
Morning take a tour of Mughal Garde-Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh- Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) was built by Asif Khan, brother of Empress Noorjehan in 1632 AD. Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) was built by Jehangir for his wife Noor Jehan. Situated on the bank of Dal Lake, these gardens are overlooked by picturesque Zabarwan Mountains. The distance from Srinagar to these gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enjoy an enchanting boat ride in the serene waters of Dal Lake in the evening. Later visit the shankracharya Temple & Parimahal. Stay overnight in the Hotel.
Day 8: Srinagar-Sonmarg-Srinagar
Today you will drive to Sonmarg through the Sindh Valley which presents yet another spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, Sonamarg (‘the meadow of gold’) has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with Trout and Mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer months. One can ride on horse (at your own cost) to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return Back to Srinagar. Overnight at Houseboat at Srinagar.
Day 9: Departure from Srinagar – New Delhi – Ahmedabad
After breakfast time free till departure. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your flight 9W 604 to New Delhi at 1235 Hours. On arrival 1400 Hours at New Delhi Airport, for your flight S2 4392 at 1905 Hours to Ahmedabad.
